Privacy Policy

1. Scope
This policy covers fortem.dev, product and team communications, and the Fortem local Kubernetes application operated by Cybrix, LLC.
2. Website information
The website uses Google Analytics and Umami to collect ordinary visit telemetry such as page, referrer, browser and approximate network information. The license-fulfillment route excludes both analytics services and removes the Stripe Session ID from its visible URL. If you book a call, Cal.com processes the attendee details needed to schedule it. If you open a paid checkout, Stripe processes the payment and billing details you submit there. After a Pro payment, Fortem verifies the Checkout Session with Stripe and uses the purchaser name, when present, only to label the signed license returned in the browser. Server-side purchase and license-issued measurements use an HMAC-derived identifier rather than a raw Stripe Session ID and contain no email, customer name, or Kubernetes data.
3. Local application
Fortem runs on your machine and connects to Kubernetes through the kubeconfig you select. The base application does not require a Fortem cloud account and does not send kubeconfig, credentials, Kubernetes API responses, logs or metrics to Cybrix. Those credentials stay in the local Go process and are not passed to the browser.
4. Optional services
If you explicitly enable a future remote service or send diagnostic material to support, the scope and purpose will be described before collection. External authentication tools, Kubernetes API servers and metrics systems remain governed by their own operators and policies.
5. Use and sharing
We use booking, purchase and support data to deliver the requested service, discuss Fortem Teams, provide support and comply with law. We do not sell personal information. We share only what is needed with service providers such as analytics, scheduling and payment vendors, or when law requires it.
6. Retention and choices
We keep purchase, booking and support records while they are useful for the relationship or required by law. Pro license fulfillment does not add the purchaser to a Fortem marketing email sequence. You may ask to access, correct or delete eligible contact information.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards for information we hold. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Your Kubernetes permissions, kubeconfig storage, workstation security and network access remain under your control.
